About Manito Shrine Club

We support local special needs children, the Shrine Hospital for Children in Montreal and raise funds for orthopaedic treatments and burn injuries. We provide transportation and care to patients needing hospital treatment from the Georgian Triangle to the Ramses Hospitals for Children regardless of a family’s ability to pay or insurance status.

• 150 clinics across the continent
• Specializations include: orthopedics, scoliosis, club foot, cleft lip, burns, brittle bone disease, and other musculoskeletal conditions

The Shriners are the world leader in orthopedic research. Their Canadian hospital trains doctors in orthopedic care — meaning most physicians who treat children for conditions like scoliosis or club foot have likely received training at a Shriners hospital. The Canadian hospital alone recorded approximately 29,000 patient visits in the past year.

Our annual events include turkey shoots , Mother’s Day Breakfast in May, a fish and chicken dinner September and weekly bingo games at the Manito Shriner’s Club.
